Ferry crossing & trip to village

After loading up the SUV and stopping for a few fresh fruits & veggies, T and I headed off to the village. Both ferries were running today so the line was non-existent. Plus we seemed to arrive at the port at the perfect moment to be the first of about six cars and three trucks to be loaded on! It was a particularly empty ferry because one truck was hauling a huge bulldozer so we must have reached the weight limit rather quickly.

It took about 30min for the small ferry to arrive and unload. Then we were directed to drive on after the motorcycles. It took a bit longer to finally get moving but the passage across the river only took 36 min. And the clinic village is about 30 minutes just past the ferry on quite nicely paved roads. So all together it was about a 3 hr journey.
